When the Air Jordan 1.5 was first announced it definitely had mixed reactions. On one side, people appreciated that a never released sample that was important for the transition between the Jordan 1 and 2 was finally available to the public, on the other side were those that saw a butchered Jordan 1 and couldn’t get over it. The latest release shown here is a departure from classic Jordan 1 colorways, and I have to say, it brings an entirely new dimension to the shoe.
Personally, I couldn’t get over the the Chicago “Return,” the “Bred,” or the “Frag-esque” “Soar,” but the Dune/Gorge Green is a great looking release. While many saw the 1.5 as fertile ground for a sole swap, these look great just they way they are. Look for them to release December 12th for $150.
